Take me to Moss Landing for Fish & Chips! Drive

Well Saturday’s drive started off dark and cloudy day in Los Gatos, but periodically throughout the day we had lots of sunshine and a few light scattered showers throughout. Even with the possibility of rain, we still had 16 cars and a total of 24 drivers and passengers. We had more than one car arriving at the starting point and continued with "top down" the entire day showing true Miata Style.

Registration opened January 1st at midnight EST (we took a page from the Harry Potter book releases) and literally within minutes the signups started to roll in. Keith Tanner has once again done a truly stellar job with our website -- www.miatasatmazdaraceway.com -- and our fantastic event staff team (returning from last year, along with some new members) has been working hard to make this event even better.

2010 Tech Talk and Membership Meeting

BAMA kicked off the New Year with the Annual Tech Talk and Membership Meeting yesterday again held and hosted by Rick Weldon of PR Motorsports.

The day may have been gloomy but it was bright with color by the attendance of BAMA members and friends with an array of beautiful Miata’s. A few brave soles even came with tops down in the true Miata style. I do have to mention that RED Miatas dominated the color palate along with a large number of white, blue, and silver all shinny examples of all 3 Miata Generations.

Why should you join BAMA?

BAMA is all about driving our Miatas safely. BAMA hosts several events each year, including scenic group drives along Bay Area back roads. These

drives through the hills or up the coast normally take about three or four hours on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Rest breaks are taken every hour or so, and the drive usually ends with lunch at a friendly, reasonably priced restaurant. Highlights of every driving event include great scenery and a line of colorful Miatas stretching out along the route. Read more...
