Bear Valley Overnight! On June 20-22, BAMA will host a fabulous weekend gathering of Miatas
at Bear Valley Lodge in stunning Bear Valley, California, to celebrate the Start of Summer! Open to
all members of all Miata clubs, this event will feature a car show and some great runs through the
mountains, lakes, and parks in the area. Flyer with registration form has been sent to BAMA members
and reps from other Miata clubs, but you can email
the BAMA President to request
a copy.
Mark Your Calendar Now! You'll have to find a calendar for next year,
but on May 21-25, 2009, Mazda will celebrate the 20th Anniversary
of the Miata with a huge event in Grapevine, Texas.
Should be at least 1,000 people and 500 Miatas--and an MX-5 will be given away! For those who
remember the 10th Anniversary, Mazda wants this to be even better. No sign-ups yet, but we'll
pass along more info as we get it.

On Sunday, August 10th, BAMA will host a caravan to the NorCal UFO autocross at Marina. First-timers
and serious autocross vets welcome. Check the BAMA Backroads newsletter for place and time.
