Lovin' Our Miatas Run
February 10, 2008
BAMA members spent a bright, sunny day enjoying their Miatas with a
spectacular drive through the brilliant green hills and lush valleys of the California wine country.
The winter landscape provided a gorgeous backdrop for an epic run that featured a wonderful
variety of twisty back roads and scenic country byways.
30 Miatas and 46 Miata lovers met at the start in Cordelia, and following the
drivers meeting, cars rolled off shortly after 10:00 a.m.

Despite recent rains, roads were mostly dry
as the caravan wound its way up to Spanish Flat, along the shores of Lake Berryessa, across rolling
meadows to Pope Valley, and back over the hills to Napa for a hearty lunch at the Trancas Steak House.
Twenty raffle prizes of red wine and chocolate, all elaborately decorated by Kaitlyn, were awarded to
twenty lucky winners before lunch, where the main topics of discussion were the amazing ride, spectacular
scenery, and a few damp corners on Redwood Road near the end.
