Welcome To BAMAThe Bay Area Miata Association (BAMA), is a sports car club consisting of more than 200 Miata enthusiasts. The club was established in 1990. The purpose of the club is to provide social and recreational activities for its members and to preserve and enjoy the Mazda Miata. BAMA's membership territory consists primarily of the 12 surrounding San Francisco Bay Area counties of Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Monterey, Napa, San Benito, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, Solono, and Sonoma. Members receive the monthly BAMA Backroads newsletter, with helpful tips for Miata maintenance, featured cars, details on all of our fun events, and more.
Throughout the year, BAMA organizes monthly driving and social activities for its member to get to know one another and to enjoy their Miatas. Most events occur on weekends and occasionally on weekdays and evenings. Activities include fun runs, poker runs, tech talks, show and shines, autocrosses, track days, and other "drive, meet, and eat" events. Some of the highlights are the annual tech talk and Miatapalooza.
